Birgit Pausch (born February 7, 1942 in Breslau ) is a German actress and writer .

Life

Birgit Pausch grew up in Düsseldorf . She completed an acting training at the Falckenbergschule in Munich and from 1964 had engagements at theaters in Bremen and Berlin . She has lived in Florence since 1973 .

Package became known as an author of narrative works between 1977 and 1982 . In 1983 she took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt , and in 1985 she received a scholarship from the German Literature Fund .
