Birkan Kanber (born May 26, 1992 in Ankara ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Kanber was born in Keçiören , a district of Ankara , and began playing club football in 2004 in the youth department of Gençlerbirliği ASAŞ , the second club of the Turkish first division club Gençlerbirliği Ankara . After four years Kanber moved to the youth department of the Gençlerbirliği parent club. He played here until the summer of 2012. He then returned as a professional player to his old club, which had since been renamed Hacettepe SK . At Hacettepe he took part in the pre-season preparatory camp and was then loaned to the league rivals Kastamonuspor . By the end of the season he had played 22 league games for this club. At the end of the season he returned to Hacettepe and was loaned to the fourth division club Tokatspor for the 2013/14 season.
