West Midlands (Regional) League

The West Midlands (Regional) League is a regional English football division for the counties of West Midlands , Shropshire , Herefordshire , Worcestershire and South Staffordshire . The league was founded in 1889 under the name Birmingham & District League , in 1962 the name that is still valid today was adopted.

Game class structure

The West Midlands (Regional) League currently organizes the operations of three divisions. These are the Premier Division , which is located on the tenth level of the football league system in England , as well as Division One and Division Two, which are hierarchically located below . The champions of the Premier Division have the right to promotion to the Midland Football League , while the worst-placed teams in Division Two are relegated to play in local football leagues.

More competitions

In addition to the league games, three cup competitions are held, the Premier Division League Cup , the Division One League Cup and the Division Two League Cup .
