South Staffordshire is a district in the county of Staffordshire in England . The administrative center is the village of Codsall . Other significant locations are Brewood , Featherstone , Great Wyrley , Kinver , Pattingham , Penkridge , Perton and Wombourne .

The district was formed on April 1, 1974 and resulted from the merger of the Rural Districts Cannock and Seisdon.
