Birra Ichnusa is an Italian brewery based in Assemini , Sardinia . The company is part of the Heineken Group.

history

Birra Ichnusa was founded in Cagliari in 1912 . In 1967 the brewery was finally relocated to Assemini. In 1981 more than 400,000 hectoliters of beer were brewed. In 1986 the brewery was taken over by Heineken.

In 2017 four beers and one mixed beer drink were brewed: the Ichnusa, the Ichnusa Speciale, the Ichnusa Cruda, the Ichnusa Non filtrata and the Ichnusa Limone.
