The house at Bismarckstrasse 29 was built around 1854. The originally free-standing, unadorned house in front of the building line is stylistically part of the late classicist "country house style". A side extension comes from the Wilhelminian era .
Monument protection
The building is probably the oldest preserved house in today's Johannesviertel . The building is a typical example of the late classicist architectural style in Darmstadt. For architectural and city-historical reasons, the building is a listed building .
