The diocese of Aqra (Akra) ( Latin Dioecesis Akrensis ) is a Chaldean Catholic diocese unified with the Roman Catholic Church and has its seat in Akrê in northern Iraq, which is controlled by the autonomous region of Kurdistan . The diocese was founded on February 24, 1910.
