Diocese of Kea
The diocese Kea ( lat. : Dioecesis Ceaensis ) was one in Greece located Roman Catholic Diocese , headquartered on the island of Kea .
history
The diocese of Kea was established in 1333 and comprised the islands of Kea , Kithnos and Sifnos . In 1659 it was divided into two parishes: Kea and Kithnos as well as Sifnos and Seriphos . In 1798 the territory of the Diocese of Kea was annexed to the Diocese of Milos .
The diocese of Kea was subordinate to the Archdiocese of Athens as a suffragan .
