Bitam is a city in the Woleu-Ntem province in northern Gabon . After Oyem it is the second largest city in the province with around 13,000 inhabitants (2008 calculation). Bitam is located around 25 kilometers south of the border with Cameroon and around 18 kilometers east of the border with Equatorial Guinea . There is a market and an airport in the city.
