Bizarre (fetish magazine)

Bizarre was an English-language fetish magazine published by the pioneer of fetish photography and bondage artist John Willie (1902–1962). The magazine appeared irregularly between 1946 and 1959 in a total of 26 issues.

history

Bizarre dealt with the topic of sexual fetishism in all variations. In particular, the fetishes “high heels” or “extremely high shoes”, “corset” and “corset education” as well as the practices of bondage and BDSM in a sexual context were treated. In addition, there were articles on the sadomasochistic practice or the variety of erotic spanking " Education ", in which "corset", "bondage" and "S / M" appear together. Letters to the editor took up around a third of the size.

The publisher was the well-known fetish photographer and bondage artist John Willie. Bizarre is still very well known in the fetish scene and now enjoys cult status :
