Bjorn Albrecht

Björn Albrecht (born July 18,  1980 in Meiningen ) is a German basketball official .

Life

Born in Meiningen , Thuringia  , Albrecht studied sports science , economics and intercultural business communication at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena , where he then worked as a research assistant until 2005. In 2005 he took up a position in the marketing and sales department in the operating company of the Bundesliga basketball team Brose Bamberg and took over the management of this area in 2008. From January 2015 he was also an authorized signatory . He was also a member of the board of Brose Bamberg eV as secretary.

On October 1, 2018, Albrecht took up his post as managing director of BBC Bayreuth Spielbetrieb GmbH, the operator of the Bundesliga club Medi Bayreuth .
