Björn Herman Leonard Gustafson (born November 30, 1934 in Stockholm , maiden name Gustafsson ) is a Swedish actor . Gustafson was best known in German-speaking countries in the role of the servant Alfred in the television series Michel from Lönneberga , based on the Swedish children's books about Emil i Lönneberga by Astrid Lindgren .

life and career

Before his acting career, Gustafson worked as a delivery boy in a grocery store in Stockholm. He enjoyed his training at the drama school of Axel Witzansky (1895–1968) and after graduating in 1957 was engaged at the Royal Dramatic Theater in Stockholm. In addition to stage work, Gustafson has appeared in numerous Swedish television and cinema productions. He also played the doctor in the film version of Madita .

In the eight-part Swedish film series Jönssonligan (German: The Jönsson gang , 1981-2000) he played the role of Dynamite Harry from 1982 . In 2008 Gustafson starred in the Swedish soap opera Andra Avenyn as the psychiatrist Jonathan Wallenius . In the last few years, at the age of 80, he was still in front of the camera for some television productions.

Gustafson is married and has three children.
