Björn Schwemin (born February 1, 1982 in Willich ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Life

Schwemin attended the St. Maternus primary school in Kleinenbroich. After graduating from Don Bosco Gymnasium Korschenbroich, he completed his community service in the city of Korschenbroich. He then studied media and cultural studies at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf . After five semesters, he successfully completed his bachelor's degree . He then studied the postgraduate course in media science and media practice at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . During his school days he gained his first experience at the Neuss-Grevenbroicher Zeitung and completed internships in the areas of print , radio and broadcasting . As a freelancer , he made contributions to local radio stations in North Rhine-Westphalia.

In 2006 Schwemin began a traineeship at the television NRW.TV . During his traineeship he was employed as a presenter for the daily three-hour live breakfast program “Guten Morgen NRW”, the daily live sports program “Halftime” and the daily live news program “NRW-NEWS”. He was then taken on as editor . From 2009 to the end of 2010 he moderated the news program “NRW-NEWS” from Monday to Friday.

From 2011 to 2017 Schwemin worked for the sports news channel Sky Sport News HD as an editor and reporter. Since July 2012 he was also seen as a moderator.
