Bjorn Paulson
Bjørn Andreas Paulson (born June 21, 1923 in Bergen , † January 14, 2008 in Skien ) was a Norwegian athlete .
On July 30, 1948 at the Olympic Games in London , the Australian John Winter won with 1.98 m in front of four jumpers who were able to cross 1.95 m. Paulson received the silver medal after crossing the 1.95 m as the only one in the first attempt.
Paulson jumped three weeks later in Trondheim with 1.96 m his personal best and won his only Norwegian championship title. In 1949 he crossed another 1.95 m. He started for IL Skjalg .
