The Bjarnarfjörður (dt. Bears fjord ) is a fjord in the westfjords Islands .

The fjord lies north of Steingrímsfjörður in Húnaflói , extends 6.5 km into the country and is 5.5 km wide. In Bjarnarfjörður lies the Klúka farm with the warm Gvendarlaug spring . Bathed in it in the saga times. On the south coast of the fjord, the Drangsnesvegur runs T645around the Drángsnes peninsula. On the north bank, the Strandavegur leads T643up to the Bad von Krossnes .

The northern Bear Fjord is about 55 km north .
