Bjarne Kraushaar (born June 12, 1999 in Giessen ) is a German basketball player . He is in the squad of the Bundesliga club Gießen 46ers .

Player career

Kraushaar played in the youth of VfB 1900 Giessen and was promoted at the basketball youth performance center in Central Hesse. In 2016 he won silver with VfB in the German U18 youth cup. At that time he was also part of the Licher BasketBären squad and gained playing experience in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . There were also appearances in the shirt of the Gießen Basketball Academy.

For the 2017/18 season, Kraushaar was appointed to the Bundesliga squad of the Gießen 46ers by coach Ingo Freyer and also gained match practice in the second Gießen men's team ( Gießen 46ers Rackelos ) in the ProB. He made his debut in the basketball Bundesliga at the beginning of October 2017 in the game against the Oettinger Rockets . In 2017 and 2018, Kraushaar was named Central Hesse's young athlete of the year.

National team

In 2019 he was appointed to the German U20 national team, in July 2019 he came third with the selection at the U20 European Championship.
