The Bjerkenuten is a large and 2840 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It forms the southern end of the Conrad Mountains in the Orvinfjella .
Participants in the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher discovered and photographed him. Norwegian cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) and named it after the Norwegian mechanic Henry Bjerke (1919–1970), a member of the expedition.
