Blåisen (Norwegian for blue ice ) is an icy and kar-like valley in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Borg massif it is located on the west side of the Borga mountain and immediately north of the Borggarden valley .
Norwegian cartographers, who also made the descriptive naming, mapped the valley on the basis of measurements and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952).
