Black Star are counted to the Native Tongues Posse . In 1998 they released their only album so far called Black Star on Rawkus Records . The album set the course for the successful solo careers of the two MCs. They contributed the song Born & Raised for the documentary Block Party by Dave Chappelle . In 2011 the two musicians reunited. On November 25th, the single Fix Up was released, the first single from the album originally announced for 2012.
