history

The group of companies is a 100% family business and belongs equally to the two family lines that give it its name. In 1975 the common interests of the EGO-Group and the Blanco-Group were bundled with the formation of the Blanc & Fischer family holding (at that time still under the name "EGO Blanc und Fischer"). In 2007, the Blanco Professional Group was created through a spin-off from the Blanco Group, so that the holding comprised three groups of companies from that point in time. In 2011 and 2013, ARPA and DEFENDI were acquired by Blanc & Fischer Familienholding. In 2016, sales totaled 1.16 billion euros, and in 2017 the company, which was founded in 1925, achieved sales of around 1.2 billion euros. The EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) accounted for 73.8 percent of sales, North, Central and South America for 18.3 percent and the Pacific region for 7.9 percent. The holding company is represented at 52 locations in 22 countries.
