The Blanco Professional GmbH + Co KG is a German family-owned company with headquarters in Oberderdingen ( Baden-Wuerttemberg ). Blanco Professional is active in the business-to-business business in the area of large kitchens ( Catering business unit ) and as a supplier to industry (Railway and Industrial business units). The company was founded in 2007 as a spin-off from the Blanco Group .
The group includes the headquarters in Oberderdingen, subsidiaries in Germany (Hilter, Leipzig and Viechtach), Belgium , France , Great Britain , Austria and the Czech Republic as well as a branch in Switzerland .
Production sites are in Oberderdingen, Leipzig, Viechtach and Frýdek-Místek / Czech Republic. Blanco Professional currently sells its products primarily in Europe , the Middle East and Asia .
history
In 1925, the company was founded by Heinrich Blanc as Blanc & Co. and began with the series production of watercraft for coal stoves. In the early 1950s, stainless steel became the company's most important material, from which u. a. Kitchen sinks, saucepans and medical technology products were manufactured. The production of equipment for the commercial kitchen industry also began.
In 1987 the world-wide introduced trademark "Blanco" was transferred to the company name Blanco GmbH + Co KG.
In 2007, the B2B business areas active in the capital goods business were merged into an independent group, today's Blanco Professional Group. The previous company Blanco produces sinks, fittings and accessories for the private kitchen.
Blanco and Blanco Professional act as independent sisters and the majority belong to the Blanc & Fischer family holding.
Field of activity
Blanco Professional operates in the B2B area with three business units:
Catering
The Catering business unit produces and sells products and systems for professional large kitchens - for storing food, portioning, transporting, keeping food cold or warm and serving food. The portfolio ranges from Gastronorm containers to food distribution systems for bistros, restaurants, the hotel industry and for canteen, school or hospital kitchens.
Industrial
The Industrial business unit produces individually manufactured precision components made of stainless steel, aluminum and plastics for industry, for example components for laboratory technology, white goods (electrical household appliances) and automotive parts.
Railway
The Railway business unit produces individual stainless steel components and complete systems for the catering technology of rail vehicles, e.g. B. space-saving water system concepts and fully integrated galleys for high-speed trains.
