The Blanchard Springs Caverns are a cave in Stone County in the north of the US state Arkansas . It is one of the most impressive and best preserved stalactite caves in the world. Several thousand formations of stalactites , stalagmites , columns and terraces are still growing.

Two lighted trails about one kilometer long are open for guided tours.

The kilometer-long cave is also home to some crickets, bats, salamanders, frogs and various insects. However, these cannot be seen on the illuminated tours through the cave.
