The Blank Peaks are a group of ice-free mountain peaks in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Brown Hills of the Cook Mountains , they lie on an isolated ridge between the Bartrum and Foggydog glaciers .
They were mapped by participants in a 1962-1963 campaign as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions . It is named after the American geologist Horace Richard Blank Jr. (* 1929), who participated in this research trip.
