The Blaszynski Hut ( pl. Schronisko pod Blaszyńskich Zawiesistą ) was at an altitude of 1050 m npm in Poland in the Western Tatras in the valley Dolina Chochołowska at the gate Wyżnia Brama Chochołowska . The area belongs to the Kościelisko municipality .
history
The hut was built in 1937. The hut was destroyed in fighting between German and Soviet units in January 1945. After the reconstruction, the hut was destroyed again in March 1946 during fighting between Polish resistance fighters and the Soviet soldiers. After it was rebuilt, the hut was used as a refuge until 1974. It was then taken over by the national park administration as accommodation for their employees, who still own it today.
