The Bleckenburgstraße 12 building is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It stands at the eaves on the southwest side of Bleckenburgstrasse in the Magdeburg district of Buckau . Bleckenburgstrasse 10 , which is also a listed building, is adjacent to the northwest . In the past, the architectural monument Bleckenburgstrasse 14 , which was demolished around 2005, was adjacent to the southeast.
Architecture and history
The three to four story plastered building was built at the beginning of the 20th century. The eight-axis, rather simply designed facade is provided with a polygonal bay window in front of the first and second floors in the two outermost axes . There is a small triangular gable on the roof of the left, four-storey side. Ornaments as ribbons and in floral form are used as facade decorations. The eaves are provided with a serrated frieze .
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 82594 .
As part of the Wilhelminian style row of streets, the residential building is considered to be significant in terms of urban development and an example of residential building construction of the medium level of the construction period.
