The Bleiche , sometimes also Bleichebach or Bleichbach , is a right tributary of the Bode in Bleicherode in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia in Germany.
course
The Bleiche rises northwest of the small town of Bleicherode in the Bleicheröder mountains . Before it reaches the city, the small brook touches an allotment garden. On the western edge of the Bleicherode development boundary, the bleach is dammed up to form a pond. After leaving this pond behind, it flows through Bleicherode. Most of the creek runs underground in the city. The last 400 m to the confluence with the Bode it flows again above ground.
Specialty
The small brook gave its name to the town of Bleicherode.
