Der Blinker is a magazine for the sport of fishing from Top Special Verlag .

concept

The blinker first appeared in the spring of 1969 (Heide-Verlag Ellen Kulow, Hamburg). The magazine has been published by Jahr Verlag since 1973. It was also the publisher's first magazine to be taken over by Alexander Jahr , who fished regularly himself , after the publishing house was founded.

The blinker appears monthly, the number of copies sold is according to IVW 2/2020. The single issue costs 5.40 euros. Various license issues abroad belong to the publishing association. a. in the Netherlands ( Beet, Rovers and Karper ), Switzerland ( Petri Heil ), France ( Le Pêcheur de France - until December 2017) and Russia. A total of 5 editors work for the blinker (including for the online presence). Overall editor-in-chief of the magazine is Michael Werner, who succeeded Lars Berding. Around 40 freelance authors and photographers regularly and exclusively contribute articles and images.

On the website www.blinker.de all websites of the fishing magazines of the year Top Special Verlag are combined. In the blinker forum , users exchange ideas on all angling topics such as B. Predator and coarse fish fishing or arrange to go fishing trips together.

Blinker hit parade

The blinker hit parade is used to document the largest catches in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Requirements for the inclusion of a catch in the hit parade:

Anyone who has caught a new record fish can report it directly to the editorial team using the online form or by e-mail. The list of the biggest catches has been printed every month in the latest Blinker since 1974.
