Blinker (bait)

A blinker

A turn signal or spoon (Switzerland) is a mostly oval lures from metal , the fishing on predators is used.

The shiny metal body is slightly dented on the flat side, which means that it is set in staggering movements when pulled through the water, imitating small ailing fish, which are attractive prey for predatory fish. Turn signals are often decorated with colorful feathers or plastic attachments to increase their attractiveness and thus their ability to catch. The advantage of blinkers compared to similar artificial baits such as spinners or wobblers is that they can also be guided vertically under the tip of the rod . This makes it possible to fish for deep spots or other hot spots even in challenging waters with little space to cast. Pike are usually caught with blinkersor perch , of course other predatory fish can also be caught with it.

patent
