Bloom Energy Server

The Bloom Energy Server has a nominal power of around 100  kW . The solid oxide fuel cells work in normal operation between 500 and 1000 degrees Celsius. The cells produce electricity from hydrogen, natural gas or biogas and also diesel through oxidation.

Well-known companies such as Ebay , Google , FedEx and Wal-Mart are using the first devices in test mode.

The generation of electricity through oxidation enables low-pollutant production from a large number of liquid and gaseous fuels . The previous efficiency is 50 to 70%.

Bloom box

On February 23, 2010, the company introduced a smaller version of its system. The Bloom-Box fits in one hand.
