Cessation of transmission

On June 24, 2011 the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb) announced that the operating DAA GmbH waived the license to broadcast over 97.2 MHz in Berlin and re-advertised the broadcast time.

Tendering of the broadcast times previously used by BluRadio on 97.2 MHz in Berlin
DAA GmbH has previously organized the BluRadio program for a gay and lesbian target group on the 97.2 MHz FM radio frequency in Berlin daily from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Instead, on the basis of a program supply contract, it wants to broadcast the RNO GmbH's "Sunshine Live" program - supplemented by Berlin-based content. The media council had already determined in March that such a program change could not be approved within the framework of the existing broadcasting permit. As of today, the DAA GmbH has renounced this broadcasting permit and thus cleared the way for a new advertisement of these broadcasting times; The planned change can be implemented at your own risk for the duration of the award procedure.
The tender text is available on the mabb homepage, and the media council is expected to make a decision on the future use of these times in autumn 2011
