Blunt Mechanic is an American indie rock band from Seattle .

history

The band was founded in 2010 by Ben Barnett, who previously played with Death Cab for Cutie singer Ben Gibbard in the band Kind of Like Spitting . The collective of several bands ultimately formed Blunt Mechanic. On April 30, 2010, the debut album World Record was released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by the Hamburg label Grand Hotel van Cleef . At the beginning of July, the first single So Hard (Living Without You) followed , which was only released digitally.
