The Blustery Cliffs ( English for stormy cliffs ) are a series of up to 1135 m high cliffs in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . They extend over a length of 5.5 km in the northern part of the Fisher Massif in the Prince Charles Mountains .
John Manning, geodesist for the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions to explore the Prince Charles Mountains, set up a surveying station here in January 1969. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named them in 1971 after the prevailing currents here .
