Bo'z is an urban-type settlement (shaharcha) in the Uzbek province of Andijon in the Ferghana Valley and the capital of the district of the same name .
The city is about 40 km west of the provincial capital Andijon and about 15 km west of the prefecture-level city of Shahrixon .
In 1983 Bo'z received urban-type settlement status. According to the 1989 population census, the settlement had 9294 inhabitants, according to a calculation for 2004, the population was 12,700.
