Career

Jørgensen moved in 1986 from Brønshøj BK to the Bundesliga for SV Waldhof Mannheim . In Mannheim he met fellow players like Jürgen Kohler and Maurizio Gaudino . In the storm, where Jørgensen wanted to assert himself in the team of coach Klaus Schlappner , he could not prevail in his first season against Fritz Walter and Karl-Heinz Bührer , he came on nine missions without scoring. In his second season, it was a fresh start for Mannheim, as many top performers had turned their backs on the club, Felix Latzke took over the position on the sidelines. Mannheim was only able to hold the league in the relegation game at the end of the season, the season was just as unsuccessful for Jørgensen, he only made two appearances. He then returned to Denmark and played for Aalborg BK .
