Bob Fitch

Bob Fitch (actually Robert E. Fitch; born July 28, 1919 , † April 15, 2003 ) was an American discus thrower .

On June 8, 1946, he set a world record in Minneapolis with 54.93 m.

In 1942 and 1946 he was US champion. Starting for the University of Minnesota , he became NCAA champion in 1942 .
