Jacques Johannes Bouvy

Jacques Johannes Bouvy (born March 26, 1880 in Banda Neira , Dutch East Indies , † December 8, 1961 in The Hague ) was a Dutch football player .

Career

Bouvy came from a Dutch football family from Dordrecht . Together with his brothers Nico (laas) Jan Jerome (1892–1957), Evert (1881–1964) and Adolf Albert (1884–1945) he formed the “Bouvy Kwartet” of the DFC Dordrecht . Presumably he stayed in Karlsruhe as a student, as he later worked as an engineer in this city. From 1904 he belonged to the Karlsruher FV , with which he reached the final of the German championship in Weidenpescher Park , which was held on June 11, 1905 in Cologne . But against the BTuFC Union 92 , the champions of the Association of Berliner Ballspielvereine , he and his team lost 2-0.

In 1913 he married in 's-Gravenhage in the Netherlands and had two children. His grandfather Jacobus Johannes founded NV Koninklijke Nederlandse Glasfabriek JJBJ Bouvy in 1848.
