"Cowboy" Bob Orton (born November 10, 1950 in Kansas City , Missouri as Robert Keith Orton Jr. ) is an American wrestler.
Robert Orton Jr. is the brother of Barry Orton and the son of Bob Orton senior . He has three children, including today's WWE wrestler Randy Orton .
Career
Before he started active as a wrestler, he was used as a referee for the first few months, as he did not yet have the usual fighting weight. But he had his breakthrough in principle right at the beginning of his career when he teamed up with Mr. Wrestling II in Georgia and was built right from the start.
Robert Orton was one of the wrestlers who popularized the Superplex as a finisher.
Between 1991 and 1994 Orton also worked briefly for SMW and UWF , where he was managed by John Tolos. In 1996 he was briefly active for the American Wrestling Federation, where he feuded against Tito Santana .
In 2005, Bob Orton Jr. was in the WWE into the storyline of his son Randy Orton against The Undertaker involved. He was finally able to win the casket match against Undertaker with the help of his son.
In February 2006, Bob Orton was fired from the WWE.
