Bob Twiggs (2009)

Robert James Twiggs (born November 27, 1935 in Blackfoot , Idaho ) is an American aerospace engineer.

Twiggs studied electrical engineering at the University of Idaho (Bachelor 1961) and at Stanford University (Master 1963). He then worked in the electron tube industry . In 1994 he became a professor at Stanford. He is considered the father of the Cubesat standard for small satellites . After his retirement at Stanford, he became a professor at Morehead State University in 2009 .
