Bobbaan in Efteling ( Kaatsheuvel , North Brabant , Netherlands ) was a steel roller coaster model Swiss Bob made by Intamin , which opened on April 4, 1985.

Bobbaan had eight individual cars with space for six passengers each. The original bobsleds with individual seats in a row were replaced in 2005 by sleds with two seats per row in order to achieve a higher capacity and to shorten the extremely long queues of up to 90 minutes. The original bobsleds have been replaced by wooden-style sleds, in keeping with the station's classic Austrian Alpine style . The original trains were sold to Six Flags Over Texas and are used on their La Vibora bobsleigh run . In order to reduce the noise level for a night driving license, the original steel wheels were replaced with softer ones. The train wound its way through trees and had a few descents, curves and places where the journey reached high speeds. The music in the station was traditionally Austrian music.

Since 2017, the bobsleigh had regular persistent technical defects, which meant that the attraction had to be regularly closed for an indefinite period. Among other things, two sleds collided with each other in 2017 and 2018. Nobody was injured. The reason was explained by the rain and the wet brakes. On October 9, 2018, it was announced that the bobsleigh will finally close on September 1, 2019 and the attraction will be demolished. The new family roller coaster, Max & Moritz, is to be built on the site and is expected to open in spring 2020.

In the run-up to the demolition, Efteling Director Fons Jürgens placed advertisements on the Marktplaats website on July 15, 2019, in which a vehicle and some attributes of the attraction were offered. The proceeds go to the Villa Pardoes. In July and August Jürgen Freilich played a farewell song every Friday and Saturday evening. On the day of the closure, flags were handed out to visitors and the queue decorated. The demolition began on September 2, 2019.
