Bobillier is a small, bowl-shaped impact crater in the southwestern part of the Mare Serenitatis . It is located north-northwest of the Bessel crater . In the south and west there is a ridge called the Dorsum Buckland .
Bobillier was known as Bessel E before it was renamed by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) in 1976 .
