architecture
The property is a residential building in a former courtyard that was closed on almost four sides . Transversely open, partially three-aisled residential stable house four-bay in length; executed in a combination of Low German and Central German construction. The main entrance with a skylight and an inscription in the lintel : “DHVT RECHTS SCHVNEMANT. GOT CORRECTED DIS HAVS FVR FEYR VND BRAND DRIES HEVTZEN ZETLIGEN EHELEVT ANNO 1701 DEN 8 IVNNY. "
A gable roof with a hipped roof on one side and covered with tiles completes the building .
As one of the oldest residential stable houses, even if only partially used in their original function, the property is today an important document for the formerly rural structure of the district . The building is of particular importance within the existing stock of old half-timbered houses due to its almost intact spatial structure, which still clearly shows the original use, as well as due to its development history as a mixed form of Low German and Central German hall houses, which is rare in the local area .
