Bodo Gladrow

Bodo Gladrow (born December 3, 1959 ) is a former German soccer player. In 1982/83 he played for Chemie Böhlen in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football .

Athletic career

At the age of 20, Bodo Gladrow joined the company sports community (BSG) Chemie Böhlen in 1980 , for which he was initially used in the junior league. Since the first team was relegated from the league in 1981, the junior team Chemie Böhlen II, which had to compete in the third-class Leipzig district league in 1981/82 . The squad again included Gladrow, who also played seven games in the GDR league with the first team . This returned after a year back in the league after they had successfully completed the promotion round. Of the eight qualifying games, Gladrow completed one game. For the league season 1982/83 he was officially nominated as a midfielder for the first team. Although coach Heinz Joerk already used him in the first league game, Gladrow did not get beyond the status of a substitute player. After his first appearance, he played another eight league games, in which he was only three times in the starting line-up. After just one season, Chemie Böhlen had to relegate again, and Gladrow moved to GDR league club Robotron Sömmerda . There, too, he was provided again as a midfielder, and he made it with 21 appearances in the 22 league games to become a regular. With his five goals he was the top scorer of his team. Although the BSG Robotron Gladrow reported for the GDR league season 1984/85 for their player lineup, he was not used. Robotron rose after the season in the district league. When the BSG returned to the GDR league in 1987, Gladrow was no longer officially part of the squad. He also did not return to the higher league operations elsewhere. There he came to nine league games without a goal, 28 GDR league games with six goals and one promotion game without a goal.
