Bodo Klüßendorf

Bodo Klüßendorf (born July 26, 1958 ) is a former German soccer player who played in 1981 for FC Hansa Rostock in the GDR Oberliga .

Athletic career

Klüßendorf only played two competitive games for the first team of FC Hansa Rostock. On October 8, 1977 he was on the 7th game day of the second-rate GDR league , Hansa had previously been relegated from the league, substituted as a striker. His second appearance was in the GDR league on March 21, 1981, also as a substitute in the match on the 18th match day of the 1980/81 season between FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt  and Hansa Rostock (3-1). He came on in the 67th minute for midfielder Juri Schlünz .

Klüßendorf's main field of activity was the FC Hansa youth team until 1982. At the age of 18 he played his first season for Hansa in the junior league in 1976/77 , in which he usually played 24 of the 26 point games and scored two goals as a left defender. Since the first team had to relegate from the GDR Oberliga at the end of this season, the offspring played as FC Hansa II in the third-class Rostock district league . After Klüßendorf after the promotion of the 1st team in 1978/79 had again completed 24 games in the junior league (without a goal), he then had to switch back to the district league because the 1st team was relegated again. After the immediate resurgence, Klüßendorf was also a regular in the youth team in the following two seasons with 18 (4 goals) and 25 (1 goal) appearances.

After the 1981/82 season, FC Hansa, with Uwe Bloch , Olaf Spandolf , Karsten Wenzlawski and Bodo Klüßendorf, gave a whole package of players to the second-rate GDR league club BSG Schifffahrt / Hafen Rostock . Of the 22 point games of the 1982/83 season, Klüßendorf played 21 games (1 goal) and the BSG was the season winner. In the eight promotion games to the league, in which Klüßendorf also participated, the Rostock could not prevail. In the season 1983/84 Klüßendorf had several failures, so that he only came to twelve point games (2 goals). For the 1984/85 season he was intended as team captain, but played only the first eight league games. At the end of the season, BSG Schifffahrt / Hafen was relegated to the district league, but was immediately promoted again. 1986/87 Klüßendorf was used in 25 of 34 point games (1 goal), in which he was used both in midfield and as a defender. After relegated to the district league, Klüßendorf was no longer represented in the higher football leagues.
