Bodo Lecke (born April 6, 1939 in Braunschweig ; † July 29, 2018 in Hamburg ) was a German specialist in German studies and educationalist .

Lecke grew up in Gifhorn and passed the Abitur exam at the Otto Hahn Gymnasium there. Bernward Vesper was one of his friends and classmates . He then studied German, history, philosophy and education at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . Research and teaching activities followed in Erlangen, Bremen and Hamburg. Lecke was significantly involved in the publications of the Bremen collective . Since 1973 he has been a professor of educational science with a special focus on didactics of German language and literature at the University of Hamburg and has been retired since the end of 2003. Bodo Lecke was married and had two children.
