Giampiero Pastore (born May 7, 1976 in Salerno ) is an Italian saber fencer .

Giampiero Pastore won silver with the Italian saber team at the 1998 European Championships in Plovdiv , and bronze at the 1999 European Championships in Bolzano . When he took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , he finished eighth with the team. In 2002 Pastore won silver with the team at the World Championships in Lisbon , also at the 2002 European Championships in Moscow . In 2003 the team won silver with him at the European Championships in Bourges . At the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 Pastore received silver with the team, in the individual he finished 22nd place. For his Olympic medal he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic .

In 2005 he won silver with the team at the World Championships in Leipzig , and in 2007 the team won bronze at the World Championships in St. Petersburg . In 2008 the team won bronze at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. 2009 was his most successful year. He was European team champion in Plovdiv and won bronze in singles, at the World Championships in Antalya he won silver with the team. In 2011 he was again team European champion in Sheffield , at the World Championships in Catania bronze with the team.
