Bodo Lorenzen

Bodo Lorenzen (born December 30, 1947 in Hamburg ; † October 29, 2018 ) was a German mentalist and entertainer .

Life

Bodo Lorenzen began his career with an apprenticeship as a technician and successfully competed in Formula Vee and Abarth racing cars. Even as a teenager he discovered his pronounced ability for empathy and sensory skills. In 1967 he was promoted and supported by the German Formula 1 driver Harry Merkel . In the following years he worked as a freelance radio journalist and presenter for NDR . From 1990 he worked as a consultant for racing drivers (André Fibier / Formula 3 ), marathon runners and team sports teams. He was the initiator and editor-in-chief of the event radio station EventFunk Nord in the district of Stade and Buxtehude, wrote and produced children's radio plays on dental care and developed motivational concepts in the field of event marketing . In this context he came into contact with the Magical Circle of Germany (MZvD), an international association of magicians, of which he became a member in 1997. In 2007 he was awarded by the MZvD for his performances. TV appearances as an entertainer and engagements as a guest speaker at events for burnout prevention followed.

After a long illness, Lorenzen died on October 29, 2018.
