Bogdan Gregor

Bogdan Gregor (* 1943 ) is a Polish economist and Vice-Rector of the University of Łódź .

Bogdan Gregor is a graduate of the University of Economics in Poznan (now Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny ). In 1968 he started to work at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Łódź. From 1973 to 1980 he was deputy director of the Institute for Goods Trade. From 1972 to 1977 he was also secretary of the Łódź section of the Committee for Regional Industrialization Research. From 1976 to 1978 Bogdan Gregor was a member of the Committee for Spatial Planning of the Rural Regions of the Polska Akademia Nauk . Thanks to a grant from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation , he went to the Federal Republic of Germany from 1980 to 1982 . In 1990 Bogdan Gregor continued to receive a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service . From 1989 to 1993 he was an advisor to the Committee on Agriculture and Food Industry of the Polish Senate . Bogdan Gregor has been Head of the Marketing Department since 1990 and was Vice Dean from 1990 to 1993 and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology in 1993 . He was a co-founder of the management faculty and from 1994 to 2002 also its first dean. Between 2005 and 2008 he was re-elected dean. On September 1, 2008, he became Vice Rector of the University of Łódź.

Works

Bogdan Gregor has published over 250 publications including 16 books. He has received several awards for his work, from the Polska Akademia Nauk ( Polish Academy of Sciences ), the Rector of the Poznań School of Economics ( AE Poznań ), the city of Łódź and others.
