Crosby Bolani

Siyasanga Crosby Bolani (* in Cape Town ) is a South African rapper .

Life

Crosby grew up in Gugulethu and founded the well-known hip-hop group Def Boys when he was fifteen . In 2002 he won the South African Broadcast Corporation talent competition with the group Chronic Clan , which he founded with his cousin Zoro. In the following years Crosby performed with Rita Marley , Capleton , Sizzla , Gentleman , Talib Kweli and Snoop Dogg , among others . In 2013 he survived a robbery in which he was shot in Cape Town. Recovery took time. Yet Crosby Bolani was very active before and after. 2014 the Unity EP in theRed Bull Studios from Cape Town . In 2015 he worked on DJ Krush's album The Butterfly Effect and recorded the album A Better Place in Munich with the Next Generation Band . As part of the international hip-hop organization The Chosen Few , Crosby collaborates with various international artists. In 2018 his song Sky High was released on the Sky High Riddim of the same name by the Swiss reggae producer Royal Gruv Sound .
