The Bolten ( Norwegian for bolt ) is a small and isolated mountain in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It rises 5 km east of the Nunatakker Litvillingane on the east side of the Ahlmannryggen .
Norwegian cartographers named the mountain descriptively and mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and surveys by the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs from 1958 and 1959 by the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
