Bonifacia Rodríguez Castro

Bonifacia Rodriguez Castro (born June 6, 1837 in Salamanca , Spain, † August 8, 1905 in Zamora , Spain) was a Spanish Catholic nun and founder . She is venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church.

She founded the Congregation of the Servants of St. Joseph , which is committed to the social and Christian advancement of women workers.

Pope John Paul II beatified Bonifacia Rodriguez Castro in 2003 .

At the consistory on February 21, 2011, the College of Cardinals confirmed the completion of the canonization process for Bonifacia Rodriguez de Castro. On October 23, 2011 she was by Pope Benedict XVI. canonized.
